Simplify IT management with the New Microsoft Teams Admin app
Microsoft has just released an app for Teams that will make life easier: The new Admin App. The new central hub makes it possible to access settings and perform key management tasks across 365, as well!
Specifically, the new Admin app enables Teams admins to do the following:
Furthermore, the Microsoft Teams Admin App allows you to remove users, manage licenses, update settings for teams, meetings, messages and more, directly from Microsoft Teams. Microsoft announced that users should get started on exploring the app today, and that they recommend that users check out their tailored recommendations and resources.
Currently, the Microsoft Teams Admin Centre does not support managing the new Admin app with the Manage Apps or the App Permission Policies features, however, Microsoft has announced that they will be adding the ability to manage new Admin app with Manage Apps and Permission Policies features in a future release.
As a bonus, Microsoft keeps adding new features to its platform to make its Teams collaboration platform more ideal for hybrid work. In June, the company rolled out several updates for Microsoft Teams. These include chat bubbles support on iOS & Android as well as live captions and transcriptions in web chats!
